Our club is led by highly experienced teacher Karen, supported by two skilled teachers with many years of experience. Together with two dedicated assistant teachers, our team ensures every member receives attentive guidance and support to help them confidently refine and perfect their routines.
OUR TEACHERS

Amelia – Teacher

Amelia is a warm and encouraging presence in our teaching team, bringing energy, care and enthusiasm to every class she teaches. She leads our junior classes on Wednesdays, creating a positive and supportive environment where young dancers can build confidence, correct technique and a love of Physie.
​
In addition to teaching our junior age groups, Amelia assists across all other classes, supporting dancers of all ages as they refine their skills and progress through the syllabus. Her nurturing approach and attention to detail help ensure every dancer feels seen, supported and guided at every stage of their Physie journey.

Karen Leuzzi – Head Teacher

Karen has been performing since the age of four and is now proudly sharing her lifelong love of Physie with two of her daughters. A four-time State Grand Champion and multiple Grand Finalist placegetter, Karen brings exceptional experience, dedication and insight to every class she teaches.

With a deep understanding of what it takes to shine on stage, Karen is passionate about nurturing confidence, strong technique and performance quality in Physie girls of all ages. Her teaching focuses on building correct posture, musicality and Physie foundations, helping each member feel supported and capable as they progress.

Karen oversees our Tiny Tots, 5–8 years and 9–12 years age groups, and teaches our Teenagers, Seniors and Ladies classes. She is supported by our junior teaching team, ensuring every dancer receives attentive guidance, encouragement and care from their very first steps through to advanced levels.

Elizabeth – Teacher

Elizabeth brings a calm, gentle and nurturing presence to our teaching team, creating a supportive environment where young Physie girls feel comfortable, confident and encouraged. She teaches our junior classes on Mondays, focusing on building strong Physie foundations through patience, care and positive reinforcement.

Alongside her junior classes, Elizabeth assists across all other age groups, offering thoughtful guidance and quiet encouragement as Physie girls develop their technique and confidence. Her gentle approach makes her a wonderful support for of all ages, particularly those who thrive with reassurance and individual attention.

Amelia and Alyssa - Assistant Teachers

Our assistant teachers are accomplished Grand Finalists who share a genuine love of Physie and serve as inspiring role models for all of our Physie girls.
They support every class by providing additional guidance and encouragement, helping our students work confidently towards their goals.
Our assistant teachers also play an important role at competitions, assisting with the smooth running of each event while offering reassurance, encouragement and moral support to our members on the day.
